Our Approach

Recognizing that your condition is often complex, your healthcare providers are always welcome to be a part of your sessions. Developing these healing partnerships can be incredibly beneficial for expediting recovery. That said, collaborating with your support circles, your medical team, and your life partners is always your choice.

You will find that when you work with Leilani, she consistently provides opportunities for you to reconnect with your own sovereignty.

Leilani views health and illness as part of a continuum where the physical, mental, emotional, and social health of a person are interwoven and each aspect dynamically impacts the healing process. Therefore, as a specialist within the yoga community, Leilani offers medically sound practices that assist her clients in processing their pain, inflammation, and stress, in the bio-psycho-social-spiritual healthcare framework.

Our philosophy at Inner Explorer Yoga is: let’s start with where you are then navigate a path that meets your needs and honors your goals. If you are looking for a holistic way to sustain your sobriety and regain control of your life, contact Leilani.

We look forward to connecting! With conscious exploration comes conscious transformation. Sat Naam!

Meet Leilani

Overcoming paralysis not once but four times in her life, Leilani passionately champions the body-mind-soul connection as a catalyst for healing.  Defying medical expectations she restored full mobility without surgery or injections by leveraging somatic-based, trauma-informed techniques to regulate her nervous system. Rooted in compassion and resilience, Leilani nurtures individuals on an inward journey where they are reminded to reconnect to their innate wisdom through mindful and intentional choices, opening the doorway to victoriously reclaiming their narratives.

  • She is a trained trauma-informed Yoga Therapist from Guru Ram Das Center for Medicine and Humanology, an internationally accredited, clinically based Master’s program that integrates allopathic medical training with the application of yogic philosophy for a holistic, integrated approach to nervous system regulation.

  • She is trained in SUPERHEALTH™ holistic addiction recovery, a globally accredited program that integrates nutrition, neurophysiology, meditation, breathwork, and Kundalini Yoga to support individuals in substance recovery.

  • She is faculty at Guru Ram Das Center for Medicine and Humanology.

  • She is a trained Breathwork coach, helping individuals understand the importance of conscious breathing and the relationship between the breath and the state of the nervous system.

  • She is a trained trauma-informed Kundalini Yoga instructor, a yogic practice that places a strong emphasis on awakening and channeling energy, aiming to release stored energy and clear energetic blockages so that individuals alleviate stress, balance emotions, and deepen mind-body-soul awareness.

  • She is a trained Myofascial Release Therapist, a therapeutic technique used to address issues related to the fascia, a connective tissue that surrounds and supports muscles, bones, and organs throughout the body, aiming to rebalance structural integrity and function of the body through the release of tension and pain.

  • She is a trained Gong Therapist, a holistic therapeutic practice that uses the power of sound and vibration to promote physical, emotional, and mental well-being.

  • She has professionally coached people in addiction and somatic-based trauma release for the past five years.

  • She has received mentoring and specialized training in mental health, chronic pain, trauma–informed yoga, addiction, somatic, business, and coaching practices.

Leilani has studied under the guidance of master teachers Shanti Shanti Kaur Khalsa, Hari Kirin Kaur, Jai Dev Singh, Siri Bahadur Khalsa, Methab Benton, and Guru Karam Benton. Chandra Kirin, Xenia Beant, and Gurudhan Khalsa have also played instrumental roles in Leilani’s development as a Kundalini Yoga practitioner.

If you are looking to move from dis-ease to ease, from disconnection to connection, welcome!  Please reach out and know that you are not alone.  As a Body-Mind-Spirit Coach, Leilani’s group and private programs incorporate Kundalini Yoga, therapeutic yoga, Breathwork, Gong Meditation, Myofascial Release, Essential oils and Ayurveda. Leilani’s ability to blend each of these supports enables her clients to be fully supported in their growth through and in the processing of the mental, emotional, physical, social, and spiritual blocks released during sessions.
